NDSU’s The Green & The Gold Collective Announces “Drive to 75” Campaign
A New Member Initiative to Unlock a Game Changing Gift Before South Dakota Kickoff
Fargo, ND – October 15, 2024 – As North Dakota State University’s official NIL collective, The Green & The Gold Collective marks its one-year anniversary, it has launched the Drive to 75 campaign, an initiative to bolster support for Bison student-athletes through Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) memberships .

Achieving this milestone will unlock a transformative matching gift pledged by a dedicated donor. This gift will be unlocked should the collective welcome 75 additional members by October 19, in time for the Bison’s highly anticipated game against South Dakota State.

In its first year, the Green & Gold Collective has already supported 107 athletes across multiple sports, funding essential opportunities that go beyond athletics and into community enrichment and personal development. Bison athletes have given back over 230 hours of community service, building meaningful connections with the Fargo community while demonstrating NDSU’s commitment to fostering well-rounded leaders.

“Our mission is rooted in championing the rights, opportunities, and well-being of NDSU’s athletes, ensuring they thrive both on and off the field,” said Founder and CEO Jay Bartley, a former student-athlete and a lifelong Fargo resident. “The Drive to 75 is a vital part of this commitment, as we continue building a strong foundation that keeps our athletes at NDSU. We couldn’t do this without the unwavering support of our generous matching gift that speaks to the passion of our community.”

With this mission to foster integrity, responsibility, and community engagement, the collective seeks to help athletes make informed decisions about their NIL rights and opportunities.

Membership in the collective offers fans and supporters exclusive access, including behind-the-scenes content, members-exclusive experiences, and unique G&G merchandise. More importantly, every new member helps create sustainable support for NDSU Athletics, strengthening the resources available to retain athletes and keep them out of the transfer portal.

The Green & Gold Collective aims to build on its early success and enhance its reach with the Drive to 75 campaign. Every membership brings NDSU closer to securing a significant gift that will make an enduring difference for its student-athletes, ensuring they have the support they need to thrive in all areas of life.

The Drive to 75 campaign will run until October 19, providing Bison Nation a unique opportunity to make an immediate impact. For more information on joining the Green & Gold Collective, visit thegreenandthegold.com
